The Crossroadz were formed by the Russian blues guitarist/singer Sergei Voronov (aka Voronofff) in Moscow in 1990. For nearly 25 years the band is playing in the original line up with Mikhail Savkin on guitars, Andrey Butuzov on bass and Alexander Toropkin on drums.

The Crossroadz toured across Russia and the Baltic States, Germany, The UK, Poland, China and France, where their first album BETWEEN had been released in 1993. The song DIAMOND RAIN from that record became a super hit in Russia and France. A regular headliner for Russian blues and bike festivals, the Crossroadz made 6 Studio albums and 2 live DVDs. Along the years the band gained the title Elite Of Russian Rhythm-and-Blues.

Sergei Voronov played with the BLUES BROTHERS BAND on the Opening night at the HOUSE OF BLUES in Chicago 1996, his name is featured on KEITH RICHARDS’ solo LP TALK IS CHEAP (1988)

GARY MOORE and MARC FORD were special guests on Seregi’s solo album IRONY (2009).

Great energy, own stile and and their authentic sound make the band a very special act.

On stage the group is usually joined by Mikhail Vladimirov – one of the finest Russian mouth-harpists, Alex Sechkin, a talented keyboard player (works with Wolf Mail on his European tours) and the great blues/soul singer Anastasia Kontsevaya.
